THESE THINGS

Wondering through the darkness and my key it hits the lock and
I stumbled and I fell across your floor
And the stale smell of tobacco and my aftershave they mingle
Clean knocked me out not wanting any more

Well I drink cause I’m well me
An argument I’m not supposed to win
When I raise my head my eyes feel dead in a stupor that’s gotten me
Well I smoke because I know
It will get me in the end
I mays well have these things I have, these things that I call friends
Oh, Oh
Oh, Oh

A face that’s seen it all is what I got
These lines reflections of the lies, the tears, the fears, I gave away too easily
The ally ways and back roads to them bars, bring back memories
Flashes of the good and bad, memories that broke my heart

And I knew, tell me now if I knew
Life could be much different, much different for me and you
And if I seen everything I was meant to be
Love could be much easier, much easier for you and me oh ho
Oh, Oh
Oh, Oh
This life could be much easier for me
Oh, Oh
Oh, Oh

Wondering through the darkness and my key it hits the lock and
I stumbled and I fell across your floor
And the stale smell of tobacco and my aftershave they mingle
Clean knocked me out not wanting any more

Well I drink cause I’m well me
An argument I’m not supposed to win
When I raise my head my eyes feel dead in a stupor that’s gotten me
Well I smoke because I know
It will get me in the end
I mays well have these things I have, these things that I call friends
Repeat x2
Oh, Oh
Oh, Oh
I mays well have these things I have, these things that I call friends
(Repeat x6)
